Sustainability Synergy 2024: Promoting Innovations for a Greener Environment

The 44th PCAPI National Annual Convention and General Assembly held last April 17-19, 2024 at the Boracay Newcoast Convention Center (BNCC) in Malay, Aklan, with a theme: Sustainability Synergy 2024: Promoting Innovations for a Greener Environment was a resounding success, marking another milestone in the association’s history. The event kicked off with an electrifying start as the group of Drumbeaters welcome all guests and delegates in the venue. While the Ati-atihan performers set the stage for an engaging and vibrant atmosphere.

Throughout the first day, over 300 delegates nationwide were treated to insightful presentations and messages by esteemed guests from the Office of the Municipal Mayor of Aklan, Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Western Visayas, and technical session resource speakers. Their knowledge and expertise provided valuable insights into the latest developments and challenges in the environment and sustainability thus, enriching the experience of all. We were also honored to recognize and bestow the outstanding achievements and contributions of the winners from this year’s Sustainability Awards during this momentous occasion.

In addition to the enriching technical sessions, delegates had the opportunity to network and engage with peers, fostering collaboration and exchange of ideas through the open forum for each topic presented. The convention also featured a lively socials night, highlighted by captivating performances from invited guest artist, host, and fire and LED dancers which Boracay was famously known for. It was an evening filled with laughter, camaraderie, and unforgettable moments, thanks to the support of our social’s partners.

Overall, the 44th PCAPI National Annual Convention and General Assembly served as a platform for learning, networking, and celebration, leaving a lasting impact on all who attended. The event exemplified the association’s commitment to advancing the profession and fostering unity within the community.
