The Pollution Control Association of the Philippines, Inc. (PCAPI) National together with the DENR- National Capital Region (NCR) conducted an ocular inspection of the Estero de Marala in Navotas City on October 29, 2019, the waterbody that was included in the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the Adopt an Estero Program signed last July 23, 2019.

The DENR NCR Team was headed by DENR OIC Assistant Secretary for Administration Jesus Enrico B. Salazar and ARD for Manila Bay- Environment Dr. Eva S. Ocfemia while the PCAPI Group was led by President Engr. Gretchen Fontejon- Enarle and Vice President for External Affairs Mr. Jeremiah Dwight Sebastian.

The ocular inspection was made possible through the assistance of the Philippine Coast Guard and the Local Government Unit of Navotas City.
