In connection with the proposed partnership of DENR and PCAPI on adopting an estero or water body, a meeting was held at the DENR- EMB Office last July 10, 2019 to finalize the content of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to be signed by both parties. The meeting organized by Assistant Regional Director for Manila Bay – Eva Ocfemia, PhD CESO IV the DENR-EMB was attended by PCAPI National President Gretchen Fontejon- Enarle and Vice President for External Affairs Jeremiah Dwight Sebastian respectively.

The Adopt-an-Estero / Water Body Program of the DENR is a collaborative undertaking between and among communities along esteros or creeks and rivers, concerned local government units, private sector and the DENR to achieve a cleaner, safer and healthier environment.

The MOA signing will be held on July 23, 2019 at the DENR Office in Quezon City.
