The Committee on Ecology held a meeting on 25 August 2026 (Tuesday) at 1 P.M. in RVM Conference Room 6, Mitra Building, House of Representatives to deliberate on legislative proposals concerning Single-Use Plastics. The session focused on examining measures aimed at addressing the environmental impact of plastic waste.

Representatives and stakeholders were invited to share their views, comments, and recommendations regarding the proposed legislation. Among the participants was Mr. Jeremiah Dwight Sebastian, Vice President for External Affairs of the Pollution Control Association of the Philippines (PCAPI), who contributed the organization’s perspective to the discussions. The meeting provided a platform for meaningful dialogue to strengthen policies to reduce single-use plastics.
